Complete a reinstate challenge for only $100

If you have more than 20,000 miles to reinstate, save money by completing a reinstate challenge. All you have to do is pay a flat $100 nonrefundable fee, then complete one of two activities within 90 days of payment:
  • Take a United flight, or
  • Successfully apply, get approved and make a purchase with a United MileagePlus credit card that was opened after payment of the registration fee
